This morning I was taking someone to the airport who was on the early

morning flight so we had to be at the airport by 5.30am.  The incident

occurred just after the last set of robots before the airport.

 

When I approached the lights they were green and as I crossed over the line

they turned amber. 

 

About 200m after the lights a policeman with a reflector waistcoat came out

from the gum trees and stopped me. 

 

As soon as I was stopped he moved off so I couldn't get his rank, name or

number off is uniform.  Another policeman in a navy uniform approached the

car along with two plain clothes.
