FREE 6 MONTH SERVICE

In order to keep you fence and your security in good working order Safeguard will visit your premises once per calendar month FOR FREE and service your installation to ensure its in good working order . Vegetation, loose wires, energizer, alarms, batter back up, user codes and gate contacts will be checked. Having seen the benefits we encourage you to sign on for the next 6 months at a nominal fee. (Nothing lasts forever without being serviced and maintained)

VEGETATION

All obstructing vegetation is required to be cleared by the customer and maintained thereafter. Although the fence is vegetation tolerant excessive vegetation on the fence wires will cause the alarm to activate

TRENCHING

In order to transfer the power from the energiser to the fence and in some cases under the gate a 50cm deep trench will be required to lay the cables.

TYPES OF ELECTRIC FENCING

STANDARD

The STANDARD fence has been designed to be the most COST EFFECTIVE way to secure your premises. 5 strands of electric fence wire with a JVA 10000 volt energizer with two built-in alarms (anti tamper and cut ) with 24 HOUR battery back up. The fence is supported with corner brackets and tensioned with springs and joined with ferrules.

ADVANCED

The ADVANCED fence is what SAFEGUARD RECOMMENDS as a minimum requirement. The fence design also complies with SAZ standards. 6 strand fence with double overhang brackets along the front and public walls for added security. A quad lighting protection system is installed to protect the fence. The same JVA energizer with 24 HOUR battery back is used. All wires are tensioned corners, springs and ferrules.

CUSTOM FENCE

The CUSTOM fence provides the highest level of security and lightning protection. 8 strands on either angled flat bar or squ tube are impact anchored to the front and public walls. UNW high security low maintance insulators are riveted on. Side walls are secured using 8 strand vertical round bars. A JVA energizer is used with the option of keypad operation. An additional third GATE alarm is installed at the gate.

PANEL PROTECTION

Panel protection may be added to the INSIDE of any pre cast wall or steel fencing. The 20 strand of alarmed electric fencing deter entry THROUGH the wall by smashing the pre cast panels. The Safeguard design of 20 strands has a 5 year safety record to date. Straining wire in an X design may be cheaper but it DOES NOT WORK.
