On 2/2/19 at 18:45 hours an alarm signal was received from Monovale. Intruders broke a garage window, the alarm activated and the intruders ran away. Client declined police involvement.

 

On 3/2/19 at 11:32 hours an alarm signal was received from Chitungwiza. Intruders removed a roof metal sheet and gained access through the trap door in the ceiling into the building and stole some bond coins.  The alarm activated and they ran away.

 

On 4/2/19 at 02:00 hours an alarm signal was received from the City Centre. Intruders forced open a back window, entered the shop and stole laptops. The alarm activated and they ran away. A police report was filed at Harare Central police.

 

On 5/2/19 at 15:13 hours a break in was reported from Southerton. Intruders gained entry by breaking the front glass door. No signal was received as area had no alarm sensors.

 

On 10/2/19 at 02:49 hours an alarm signal was received from the City Centre. Intruders cut locks from the exterior screen door and smashed the glass door to gain access and stole clothing items. The alarm triggered and they ran away.

 

On 11/2/19 at 08:00 hours our client from Parktown reported a break in.  Intruders made a hole in the display window and fished out stole some items. Alarm did not sound as the intruders did not get inside.

 

On 14/2/19 at 02:10 hours an alarm signal was received from Westgate.  Intruders cut the mesh wire and jumped over the Durawall to gain access. Guards on duty saw them, pressed panic button, the alarm triggered and the intruders escaped empty handed.

 

On 16/2/19 at 02:32 hours an alarm signal was received from Graniteside. Intruders cut the lock on the metal door and broke the glass on the main door to gain access. They stole some batteries. The alarm triggered and they ran away.

 

On 16/2/19 at 08:20 hours a phone call was received from Avondale.  Intruders scaled over the durawall and stole a TV and laptop.  There is no alarm system. Client uses panic system.

 

On 16/2/19 at 08:20 hours an alarm signal was received from Workington.  Intruders forced open the outside door but failed to open the inside screen door. Alarm activated and intruders fled empty handed.

 

On 18/2/19 at 01:32 hours an alarm signal was received from the City Centre. Intruders broke the display glass window and cut the burglar bars with bolt cutters and stole some items. No alarm on the display windows.  The alarm triggered on entry and they ran away.

 

On 18/2/19 at 03:08 hours a phone call was received from our guard requesting the reaction team to attend a site in Willowvale where he spotted intruders breaking a durawall panel. The reaction team attended and the intruders ran away before arrival of the team

 

On 19/2/19 at 03:47 hours an alarm signal was received from the City Centre. Intruders broke 7 locks, the alarm triggered and they ran away empty handed.

 

On 20/2/19 at 22:44 hours an alarm signal as received from the City Centre. Intruders cut the key and broke the main entrance door and stole some batteries. The alarm triggered and they ran away.

 

On 21/2/19 at 02:04 hours an alarm signal was received from the City Centre. Intruders broke and forced opened the screen door and stole some TV’s. The alarm triggered and they ran away.

 

On 22/2/19 at 00:31 hours a panic signal was received from Southerton. Intruders broke the front shop windows and guards pressed the panic button, alarm sounded and the intruders fled empty handed.

 

On 22/2/19 at 03:35 hours an alarm signal was received from Mandara.  Intruders broke the kitchen window, alarm activated and they ran away empty handed.

 

On 24/2/19 at 11:00 hours our client from Borrowdale reported a break in.  Intruders broke into her company vehicle and stole a purse which was found in the yard and also stole clothes from the garage.  This area is not covered by an alarm system.

 

On 24/2/19 at 09:50 hours our client from Chisipite reported a break in.  Intruders broke into client’s vehicle and stole some goods. Client had parked his car where there is no coverage of an alarm system.

 

 On 24/2/19 at 14:51 hours our client from Belvedere reported a break in.  Intruders broke into his vehicle and stole a car battery. This area is not covered by an alarm system.

 

On 25/2/19 at 23:42 hours an alarm signal was received from Eastlea.  Intruders forced open the main door but fled empty handed when the alarm sounded.

 

MIDLANDS PROVINCE

On the 12/02/19, at 21:45 an unknown number of intruders broke into the house located in the low density suburb of Kopje and assaulted family members watching television. These intruders demanded cash from the family, but failed to find any. The house has both indoor and outdoor alarm system which was not armed at the time of the incident.

On the 27/02/19 intruders broke into a local company substation in Gweru and tried to vandalize equipment. They were detected by a video alarm system which triggered and scared them away.

On the night of 27/02/19, intruders broke into one property located in North lea suburb and attempted to remove a spare wheel from a vehicle parked on the car park.   The alarm triggered and scared the intruders away.

 

BULAWAYO

On 4/2/19 at 10:00hrs an alarm activated at a local base station. A response team was dispatched and discovered a break in where palisade fencing was forced open.

 

On 4/2/19 at 22:45 hours whilst our guard was carrying out his routine patrols at a local school, he discovered that an office outer door had been damaged.  The burglar did not manage to gain access into the office due to a screen door, and was disturbed by the patrolling guard .nothing was stolen.

 

On 18/2/19 a tyre retailer in the City reported a break in. It was discovered that access was gained via an outdoor staircase to an outer office, the intruder manager to avoid alarm sensors as there was no activation and two tyres were stolen. The alarms system was armed but does not cover the whole area and is in need of a service.

 

On 14/2/19 at approx. 1100 hours, an NGO situated in Suburbs was broken into. The intruders left the scene when the alarm activated.  Nothing was stolen.

 

 

MUTARE

On the 1/02/19 at 22:10 hours we received an electric fence alarm signal from one of our clients and our response team was dispatched.  On arrival they noted that one of the durawall panels was broken.  The intruders ran away on hearing the alarm system sounding. Nothing was reported stolen.

On the 2/02/19 at 10:31 in the city centre hours we received a phone call from one of our clients reporting that there was a break in and theft at his shop.  We attended and noted that the criminal broke one of the windows and fished out items close to the window.  Alarm was armed.

On the 18/02/19 at 08:30 hours our control centre received a panic signal from one of our clients and response team was dispatched.  On arrival they met the owner who advised that some goods where stolen through a broken window.  Our Supervisor attended and noted that there was a broken window panel which was used by intruders to fish the goods out of the shop.  The alarm was armed but did not activate.  Clients are advised to repair any broken doors and windows and to move the goods away from the doors and windows at knock off.
