Break In, 30 November 2025, Unknown Time, Bristol Road, Gweru, Midlands– A guard raised the control room after he saw intruders stealing chrome from a train wagon. A response team was dispatched, and the team and guard managed to recover the stolen chrome after the intruders fled the scene.
Break In, 28 November 2025, 2225hrs, Ventersburg, Ruwa, Mashonaland East– A guard raised the control room after he heard and spotted an intruder cutting the electric strands at a nearby site. When the intruders saw the guard, they started throwing stones at the guard and told him to mind his business. A response team was dispatched but the intruders had fled the scene when they arrived.
Break-In, 23 November 2025, 0019hrs, Bessborough Street, Belmont, Bulawayo – A call was confirming a break-in incident was received from the client at 0620hrs on the 23rd of November 2025. Investigations revealed that intruders initially attempted to enter through asbestos roofing sheets without success before cutting through iron roofing and gaining access via the ceiling. The alarm system was vandalised and deactivated, and burglar bars were forcibly broken as the suspects exited through a rear window. Nothing was reported stolen and investigations are
underway.
Robbery, 22 November 2025, Unknown Time, Jefferson Road, Logan Park, Harare – Intruders reportedly entered the property by scaling the precast wall after bypassing an
unlocked neighbouring gate. Once inside they restrained the on-site security guard and forced entry into the offices where they stole US$25 000 and fuel coupons from the safe. They ransacked several other offices and stole two laptops and three cell phones before fleeing the scene through the main door.
Break-In, 17 November 2025, 0450hrs, Moodie Street, Chipinge, Manicaland – The guard on duty reported that while he was doing his routine patrols, he discovered that the boardroom window burglar bars had been tampered with. At the time of reporting, it was unclear whether any items had been stolen, pending verification by the keyholder. Investigations are ongoing.
Robbery, 12 November 2025, 1245hrs, Riverside Avenue, Utopia, Manicaland – Three intruders reportedly broke into the above-mentioned premises and tied up the on-duty security guards before forcibly entering the offices. Once inside the suspects ransacked the offices in search for cash but nothing was reported stolen. Investigations are underway.
Break In, 10 November 2025, 2136hrs, Fife Avenue, Avenues, Harare – A guard saw that an intruder had forced their way into the outside guardroom and immediately pressed his Bloodhound panic button. A response team was dispatched, and on arrival, the team managed to apprehend a male intruder who was sleeping in the guardroom. The individual was taken to the ZRP. No losses were reported.
Theft, 07 November 2025, 1302hrs, Aerodrome Road, City Centre, Mutare, Manicaland – The guard on duty reported that one of the groundsmen sighted an unknown individual within the premises. He had already stolen a ladder, which he dropped just outside the premises, after the Safeguard guard chased him.
Break-In, 05 November 2025, 0434hrs, Mutare Road. Ruwa, Mashonaland East – A panic signal was received at the site, prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival, they met the Safeguard guard on duty, who reported that he had pressed the panic button after he discovered that unknown intruders had cut the perimeter fence. Nothing was reported stolen within the premises.
Break-In, 01 November 2025, 0233hrs, Harrow Road, Msasa, Harare – A panic signal was received from the above-mentioned site, prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. Upon arrival, the on-site security guard reported that intruders had vandalized the perimeter
palisade bars and siphoned fuel from parked trucks. The suspects also stole eight batteries before fleeing the scene. Police attended, and investigations are ongoing.
Robbery, 04 November 2025, 0429hrs, Smithfield Way, Marondera, Mashonaland East – A phone call was received reporting that unknown intruders had subdued the guard on site. More details to follow.
Theft, 16 November 2025, 0310hrs, Rossal Road, Greendale, Harare – A radio call was received from the guard on site after he heard unusual sounds outside the yard by the ZESA transformer. A response team was immediately dispatched, and on arrival, the intruders had already fled the scene. The key for the transformer had been tampered with, and oil was leaking, suggesting it had been stolen.
Break-In, 16 November 2025, Unknown Time, Robert Mugabe Road, City Centre, Harare – A day guard manning the site reported that the previous night, intruders vandalised the front door trying to remove the brass metals coating the door. The site does not have a night guard.
Theft, 28 November 2025, 2330hrs, Unknown Road, Warren Park, Harare – A guard raised the area supervisor and reported that four suspects were attempting to steal electricity cables at the main gate. A response team was dispatched but the intruders had fled the scene after they saw that they had been spotted.
Theft, 27 November 2025, 1802hrs, Unknown Road, Marondera, Mashonaland East – A night guard raised the control room after he saw the site manager and a truck driver filling plastic buckets with fuel. A response team was dispatched, and the two were arrested. 8 buckets were
recovered. The incident was reported to the police.
Theft, 20 November 2025, 0419hrs, Mitchell Road, Ardebennie, Harare – A report was received from the site after unknown intruders stole eight fire extinguishers from the premises. The suspects were reportedly travelling in a Honda Fit vehicle. The incident was reported to ZRP, and
investigations are currently underway.
Armed Robbery, 12 November 2025, 0116hrs, Chimanimani Road, Sakubva, Manicaland – The above-mentioned fuel station was reportedly targeted by a group of five armed intruders. The attendants were forced to lie down in the office as the thieves took the money and attempted to tamper with the safe, but abandoned the effort due to the UR fog activation. The intruders fled when response vehicles arrived at the scene, leaving behind one of the victim’s torches. Police attended, and investigations are ongoing.
Theft, 24 November 2025, 0700hrs, Basset Crescent, Alexandra Park, Harare – A parent reported that unknown suspects had unlocked her vehicle and stolen her handbag. The parent reported that she had locked her vehicle before entering the school premises, and suspected that a jamming device had been used to intercept the signal as she locked her car.
Break-In, 17 November 2025, 0430hrs, Basset Crescent, Alexandra Park, Harare – A dog handler on patrol discovered a break-in after hearing suspicious noises near the workshop. His patrol dog later led him to a bicycle abandoned on the school grounds, loaded with black bin liners. Further checks revealed four 5-litre containers of oil hidden near the changing rooms, which were later confirmed to have been stolen from the workshop. The bicycle was identified as belonging to a staff member. Investigations are ongoing.
Armed Robbery, 12 November 2025, 0154hrs, Bilston Road, Belmont, Bulawayo – A Safeguard response team was immediately dispatched following an alarm signal. On arrival the team found two security guards tied up inside the guard room. According to reports, three unidentified armed intruders entered the premises. The suspects proceeded to the office where they attempted to blast open a money safe but failed. Police and CID Homicide attended the scene. Nothing was reported stolen.
Armed Robbery, 29 November 2025, 0248hrs, Hostel Nicole Road, Chitungwiza, Harare – A response team was dispatched after an alarm activated on site. On arrival, the team were met by an intruder wearing a private security guard uniform who opened the gate for the response team.
On entering the site, the one of the response team members was held at gunpoint by second intruder. A third intruder wearing a private security guard uniform approached the response team, took the response team vehicle keys before tying them with the security guards who had already been subdued. The intruders used a grinder to cut open the main entrance door and glass door. The intruders threatened to shoot the guards if they raised alarm. Approximately 15 intruders with 5 intruders who were armed had used ladders to scale over the wall before attacking the guards.
Armed Robbery, 28 November 2025, 2147hrs, Gleneagles Road, Willowvale, Harare – A client called the response team and reported that an armed robbery had occurred on site. Reportedly, 11 intruders armed with a firearm and iron bars entered the site when a construction vehicle was exiting the site. The intruders subdued the private security guards and caretaker before entering the offices through the main entrance door which was unlocked. The intruders ransacked the offices looking for cash, but it is unclear if any was taken. The alarm was not armed due to renovations occurring on site. The incident was reported to Southerton Police.
Robbery, 28 November 2025, 0435hrs, Hacha Road, Ruwa, Mashonaland East – Area manager called the control room reporting that an armed robbery had occurred on site. An unknown number of intruders accessed the premises through an unknown access point subdues the guards before forcibly entering the office building. The intruders ransacked the offices looking for money, but the client does not keep money on site. The intruders fled the scene empty handed. The incident was reported to Ruwa Police Station.
Theft, 20 November 2025, 0126hrs, Basch Street, Steelworks, Bulawayo – A panic signal was received from the site prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival the team was informed by onsite CCTV operators that three unidentified individuals had been observed cutting ropes and attempting to open the tarpaulin of a truck trailer parked outside. One of the truck drivers at the scene confirmed that the one rope from his truck had been stolen.
Robbery, 14 November 2025, 0200hrs, Durban Road, Nyakamete, Manicaland – An armed robbery was reported with more details yet to be provided.
Armed Robbery, 12 November 2025, 0014hrs, Plumtree Road, Belmont, Bulawayo – An alarm signal was received prompting an immediate response from Safeguard. Upon arrival, the team encountered gunfire and immediately alerted the control room of an ongoing robbery. Preliminary reports indicate that intruders gained access by breaching the perimeter wall before assaulting two internal guards. The suspects, armed with two pistols, forced entry into
the building and attempted to blast open a money safe but failed. Nothing was reported stolen, and investigations are underway.
Armed Robbery, 08 November 2025, 0230hrs, Asbestos Road, Kelvin West, Bulawayo – Three armed suspects attacked employees on night duty after gaining entry into the premises by breaking a perimeter panel. The suspects allegedly force-marched the workers to the guardroom, where security guards were also assaulted. The attackers, who were masked and armed with pistols, a pick and a machete, failed to locate any cash before fleeing with a guard’s cap, torch, and panic button. Police investigations are currently underway.
Armed Robbery, 07 November 2025, 2300hrs, Lorraine Drive, Bluffhill, Harare – An alarm signal was received from the above-mentioned site prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival, the team noticed that the on-duty guards were not patrolling as usual and immediately raised for back up. It was later discovered that 5 armed suspects had cut the razor wire, broke into the site and attacked the occupants. The alarm sounded while they
were attempting to enter the building causing them to flee before stealing anything.
Robbery, 10 November 2025, 1720hrs, Old Enterprise Road, Newlands, Harare – A supervisor reported that a guard had been robbed of his uniform after he had boarded a private vehicle, a Toyota Aqua, along Old Enterprise Road. The guard reported that the occupants turned the vehicle towards Argyll Road in Newlands where they robbed him of his bag and personal cell phone. The guard jumped out of the moving vehicle and proceeded to his contract where he informed his supervisor. The guard was advised to report the incident to ZRP Highlands.
Robbery, 30 November 2025, 2130hrs, Chiltren Avenue, Waterfalls, Harare – A response team was dispatched after a panic signal was received from the site. On arrival, the team reported that a resident had been attacked by four male suspects wearing masks whilst he was parked outside
the gate and preparing to drive in. One of the intruders forced the resident out of the car seat before the other suspects blindfolded him and sped off in the resident’s vehicle with him inside. The suspects who were armed with a plank and knobkerrie robbed the resident of a significant amount of money before dumping him at Mbudzi Cemetery and fleeing with the resident’s vehicle.
Break-In, 27 November 2025, 0332hrs, Rochester Crescent, Alexandra Park, Harare – A response team was dispatched after a panic signal was received from the site. On arrival, the team reported that intruders cut the razor wire and attempted to steal a gate motor. The gate alarm
sensor activated, and the intruders fled empty-handed.
Break-In, 21 November 2025, 0208hrs, Marwede Road, Whitecliff, Harare – An alarm signal was received from the above-mentioned residence after an intruder was sighted within the premises by the private guard on duty. The intruder stole a torch before fleeing the scene.
Break-In, 20 November 2025, 0100hrs, Arcturus Road, Kamfinsa, Harare – A report was received from the above-mentioned residence after unknown intruders cut the electric fence at the corner of the property. They then used a tree outside the premises to gain access and stole a bicycle from the veranda causing the alarm to sound. The on-site security guard responded immediately but the suspects had already escaped, leaving behind a cutter that was recovered at the scene.
Break-In, 14 November 2025, 0142hrs, Windemere Road, Morningside, Bulawayo – A panic signal was received from the above-mentioned residence prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. Upon arrival, the occupant reported that an unknown suspect had forced open the front door, reportedly using a sharp object, and entered the bedroom. The suspect stole US$21,680, which was in the occupant’s bag inside the bedroom.
Break-In, 13 November 2025, 0358hrs, Marimba Road, Matsheumhlophe, Bulawayo – A response team was dispatched after an alarm activated at the residence. On arrival, the team reported that intruders had broken into a vehicle that was parked on site but had failed to steal any
items from the vehicle.
Break In, 09 November 2025, 2300hrs, Braintree Close, Greencroft, Harare – The client of the above-mentioned address informed the control room that intruders scaled the panelled wall, proceeded to a spare bedroom window, removed the windowpane, and vandalised the burglar
bars. No property was stolen as the intruders failed to access the house. The client believes the incident occurred before the alarm was armed the previous night.
Break-In, 07 November 2025, 2300hrs, Windermere Road, Morningside, Bulawayo – A call was received from the occupant of the above-mentioned residence on the 08th of November 2025 advising that she heard someone in their yard and their dog barking viciously last night. She
discovered the next morning that a window had been forcefully opened and a burglar bar broken by unknown suspects.
Break-In, 07 November 2025, 0159hrs, Popular Drive, Newton West, Bulawayo – An alarm signal was received from the above-mentioned residence prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival the team met the client who narrated that unknown intruders had broken into his residence. Inspections showed bare footprints leading to the perimeter wall. A long stick
was found on site suspected to have been used by the suspect to tilt the cameras. They forced open a window and cut the burglar bar with an unknown object. The alarm sounded as a result, and the suspects fled the scene without stealing anything.
Break-In, 03 November 2025, 0230hrs, 18th Avenue, Famona, Bulawayo – A panic signal was received from the site prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival the team found that threes lights mounted on a pole just outside the house had been stolen. The suspects remain unknown.
Break-In, 01 November 2025, 0410hrs, Everington Close, Hatfield, Harare – A panic signal was received from the above-mentioned residence prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. Upon arrival, the occupant reported that he activated the panic button after his domestic worker informed him that the gardener had been locked inside the cottage by unknown individuals. It is currently unclear if any items were stolen. There is no alarm system securing the cottage.
Break-In, 01 November 2025, 0039hrs, Moffat Avenue, Hillside, Bulawayo – A call for assistance was received from the occupant of the above-mentioned residence. A response team was immediately dispatched, and on arrival they found the gate not properly secured. Upon further inspection they discovered that a window on the southern side of the property had been forced open and the burglar bar damaged. The kitchen door had also been tampered with, but nothing was reported stolen as the intruders failed to gain entry into the house.
Theft, 28 November 2025, Unknown Time, Coventry Road, Low-Industries, Gweru, Midlands – A CCTV operator reported that a suspect had stolen 5 padlocks and 4 paint brushes from the site.
Break-In, 21 November 2025, 0105hrs, Lorraine Drive, Westgate, Harare – Three intruders were reported to have gained entry through the goods-receiving backyard of the site after removing nuts from the clear-view fence to create a gap. The suspects were detected by external alarm sensors, triggering the alarm and forcing them to flee empty-handed, leaving behind their tools. CCTV footage confirmed the intrusion, and no losses were reported.
Armed Robbery, 16 November 2025, 2000hrs, Bulawayo Road, Whitecliff, Harare – The client was contacted after an alarm signal was received from the site at 1149hrs on the 17th of November 2025. The client informed the response controller that he was testing the alarm after intruders robbed the shop just before closing at 2000hours on the 16th of November 2025. The intruders instructed everyone to lie down and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the shop.
Armed Robbery, 05 November 2025, 0206hrs, Munondo Street, Ruwa, Mashonaland East – A panic signal was received from the above-mentioned address prompting the immediate dispatch of a response team. On arrival, they encountered three armed robbers who fired shots at them after the robbers had subdued the private guards. Nothing was reported stolen, and investigations are ongoing.
A Harare man lost US$18 000 in a fake gold-trading partnership after the suspect who claimed to be a licensed trader vanished with the investment. The complainant handed over the money in 2022 after being convinced profits would be shared, but the suspect became evasive and never delivered. Nearly three years later, the complainant spotted him at a local nightclub and alerted
police, leading to his arrest. The accused has been remanded in custody, and none of the money has been recovered.
A fatal shooting incident occurred near a Mine in Bubi District, where a 31-year-old man was shot three times in the chest by a mine security guard while walking to nearby shops. Witnesses claim members of the public are routinely barred from passing near the mine premises and allege that
this is not the first such incident to occur in the area. Police have since launched investigations into the matter.

A 19-year-old Bulawayo man has been fined US$150 after stealing a cell phone from a minor. The accused, who pleaded guilty to theft, was ordered to pay the fine by the 2nd of January 2026 or serve three months’ imprisonment. The incident occurred on the 29th of November 2025 when the suspect asked a Form One pupil near Congo Beer Garden, Mpopoma, to use her phone. He ran off with the device, but members of the public apprehended him and recovered the handset.

Police in Harare arrested a 31-year-old man in the CBD on the 28th of November 2025 for impersonating a police officer. The suspect was apprehended while dressed in a police uniform and allegedly soliciting bribes from motorists.

Two men have been jailed for six years each after being convicted of a violent home invasion in Budiriro, Harare, where cash, cell phones and a vehicle were stolen. The court heard that on the 22nd of March 2025, the duo and several accomplices still at large stormed a family home in Budiriro 5B armed with pistols and an iron bar. They overpowered the occupants before demanding money and ransacking the house. The robbers made off with various valuables worth US$19 283 and fled in the complainant’s Toyota Baby Quantum, which was later recovered abandoned along High Glen Road.

Two brothers from Beitbridge have been arrested for allegedly running a forgery syndicate that produced counterfeit border and insurance documents. Investigators recovered fake COMESA insurance cards, vehicle registration papers, identity documents, passports and several machines used for printing and laminating. The suspects are expected to appear in court on charges of
forgery, fraud and possession of articles for criminal use, while investigations into the wider syndicate continue.
A soldier based in Plumtree and an accomplice have appeared before the Plumtree Magistrates’ Court facing three counts of armed robbery linked to a two-day crime spree in Mangwe and Bulilima districts. The pair is accused of targeting two shops and a homestead on the 17th and 18th of November 2025, where they allegedly used an airgun and posed as messengers sent to collect money before robbing their victims of cash, foreign currency, airtime, and cell phones. After the second shop robbery, the suspects allegedly forced a shop attendant to lead
them to her employer’s home, where they further robbed him before fleeing. Investigations are ongoing.

Two sports bars in Bulawayo’s Entumbane suburb were robbed just before midnight on Thursday by a gang armed with an axe and a firearm. The robbers stormed the bars, ordered patrons to lie down and assaulted employees, axing a security guard on the hand and injuring the bartender before firing a shot and moving to the next bar, where they fired two more rounds while demanding compliance. In a related incident, a neighbourhood watch committee member in Emakhandeni was shot in the head at approximately 0100hrs by suspects believed to have been coming from the direction of Entumbane. Police say a full statement will be issued once investigations are complete.

A beerhall in Entumbane was ambushed by robbers in the early hours of the morning, less than a day after two nearby sports bars were targeted in similar attacks. Police allege that three knife wielding suspects entered the premises at approximately 0300hrs after scaling the precast wall, threatened the security guard and tied him up before breaking a padlock to gain entry. The gang fled with assorted alcohol and a cell phone worth about US$140. Police have launched investigations and are appealing for information that may assist in identifying the suspects.

Two brothers from Chipinge have been jailed for a combined 43 years after being convicted on seven counts of robbery linked to violent attacks on female headed households and local businesses. They were arrested on the 12th of November 2025 after a police patrol intercepted them and recovered several stolen items. The court heard that the gang, armed with machetes, iron bars and catapults, terrorised residents and demanded cash and property. Two accomplices remain at large and police efforts to locate them are ongoing.

On the 15th of November 2025 at 2200hrs in Greystone Park, Harare. Residents reported that they heard someone screaming as a vehicle sped along Leamington Road onto Harare Drive. It is unclear what the circumstances of the incident are. Police in Mazowe have arrested a machete-wielding gang linked to a series of robberies committed
at Cress Farm, Storis Mine and Umsasa Farm between the 11th and the 12th of November 2025. The group allegedly attacked several victims before stealing a high-beam searchlight, two cell phones and US$680 in cash. The arrests led to the recovery of four machetes and five Columbia knives. All suspects are now in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.

A sales representative from a Harare-based biscuits manufacturer has appeared in court accused of stealing stock worth US$55 372 in an alleged long-running fraud scheme. Prosecutors allege that between January 2024 and September 2025, the employee conspired with a colleague responsible for clearing payments to falsify company records, marking unpaid stock as settled and sharing the proceeds. The alleged scheme was uncovered during a routine audit, which revealed significant discrepancies between recorded payments and actual client transactions.

A 43-year-old man from Bluffhill was robbed of US$19,340 by three armed suspects while en-route to deliver cash to a finance auditor in Borrowdale. The incident occurred along Harare Drive when the suspects, driving an unregistered silver Mercedes-Benz, overtook his vehicle. Two of the
suspects pulled out pistols, forcing the victim to surrender four envelopes containing cash and a cell phone. Police have confirmed the incident and launched investigations into the armed robbery.

A motorist from Murehwa was robbed of US$800, three cell phones, groceries, and personal documents after giving a lift to three unknown men traveling from Harare. The incident occurred at approximately 2100hrs when the men, who claimed they were heading to Musami, overpowered
the driver upon stopping at a bus stop. The suspects forced him to drive back towards Harare before stopping the vehicle and fleeing.

Two men from Bulawayo have been sentenced to one year in prison each after being convicted of stealing a push cart loaded with clothing items valued at US$1 300. The incident occurred on the 29th of September 2025 at approximately 2200hrs at a service station in the city centre, where the pair took the complainant’s push cart and fled. Police later recovered the cart and a small portion of the stolen items.

Four armed robbers allegedly subdued five security guards before blowing open a wall-mounted safe and stealing more than US$9 000 at a fuel station in Kwekwe. According to a statement by the ZRP, the suspects confronted a guard on duty, forced him to the ground, tied his hands and legs, and dragged him into the building. A second guard who attempted to alert a response team was also captured and restrained. The robbers proceeded to a second room, where three more guards were asleep, and tied them up as well. The suspects then detonated a wall-mounted safe and fled with US$9 700. Police investigations are ongoing.
A company lost USD179 612 after a cashier allegedly stole the funds and used them for personal expenditures including unauthorized loans to several companies. The incident was discovered on the 5th of November 2025 after an accountant conducted a reconciliation of the cashier’s account and discovered a suspicious transaction. The cashier confessed to processing unauthorised loans
after she was questioned on the matter. The company managed to recover some of the funds and also discovered that some of the funds were stolen through falsified records.

A registered nurse from Mutare has appeared in court facing allegations of defrauding an insurance company by opening life assurance policies for three deceased individuals and claiming a total of US$15,000. The ZRP is appealing for information to locate a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with a fraud case involving ZWG 4,845,48.90. The suspect, a former insurance sales and marketing officer, is alleged to have created duplicate POS receipts for motor vehicle insurance and licences between July and December 2024, keeping the proceeds for himself. The matter came to light during an audit prompting immediate investigation.

Police in Mazowe have arrested a machete-wielding gang linked to a series of robberies committed at Cress Farm, Storis Mine and Umsasa Farm between the 11th and the 12th of November 2025. The group allegedly attacked several victims before stealing a high-beam searchlight, two cell phones and US$680 in cash. The arrests led to the recovery of four machetes and five Columbia knives. All suspects are now in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.

The ZRP have arrested 3 suspects who robbed a man of his vehicle, money and personal belongings after they had hired his vehicle from Harare to Shamva. The suspects used the vehicle to rob a complainant who was riding his motorcycle along Harare-Mukumbura Road. The suspects
assaulted the complainant and robbed him of a cell phone, satchel and a satchel containing clothes and wallet. The suspects were arrested at Kararina Business Centre, and the stolen vehicle was recovered.

A 23-year-old man who was a manager at a restaurant was sentenced to prison after he was caught on CCTV making unauthorised transactions with a company card. The card which had been stolen in Harare continued to be credited with money while the accused debited funds from the stolen card. An arrest was made after the card was used at a supermarket in Mutare. Police attended the scene, reviewed the CCTV footage and identified the person using the card.

On the 4th of November 2025, a man was arrested after he attempted to disarm a security officer manning Zimbabwe House, which is the official residence of the President. The man demanded to see the President whilst trying to attack the guard. The man was reportedly injured on his hand by
a bayonet attached to the firearm whilst he was struggling with the security officer.
In Marondera, the police are investigating a robbery that occurred on the 4th of November 2025 at 0020hours. Four armed suspects who were in possession of a grinder and claw bar attacked a security guard, ransacked the offices, broke into a strong room and stole USD240 000.00.

On the 1st of November 2025, a Harare businessman was robbed of USD30 000 after an individual informed him that he could deliver some goods from South Africa. The businessman met with the individual near Showgrounds in Belvedere and entered the individual’s vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner so they could transact. Whilst in the vehicle, another man opened the vehicle door and stabbed
the businessman in both legs. The two men grabbed the businessman’s bag, drove from the crime scene and dumped the businessman at a tollgate along Dema Road. The businessman is currently receiving medical attention for the injuries.
A scam alert has been issued by mining Zimbabwe of an individual impersonating a prominent mining executive. The individual who is possibly working with an accomplice, contacted Mining Zimbabwe and narrated that he needed assistance locating his son who was supposed to be leaving for Egypt. When Mining Zimbabwe contacted the “son” on the provided number, the son reported that he needed USD240 for a vehicle repair. Mining Zimbabwe realised that it was a scam and contacted the mining executive who dismissed the reports made by the scammers. The scammer used the following number +27672133253.
