The vehicle owners demanded utmost security for their cherished and valuable vehicles on display and we were able to persuade them that Safeguard would provide such a service. The number of vehicles on exhibition is testament to the fact that they were suitably reassured…!

The coverage and range of security services provided, from “eye in the sky” to a dog handler and smart guards, meant that not a single security incident was reported to us on the weekend despite the large crowds of visitors.

We strive to ensure that we build on a long-term framework of transparency that is inclusive for not only the Troutbeck event but for all of our events that are at your disposal for each respective sponsorship period or season.

Good Morning Andy,

I hope you are well. I was involved in a nasty car accident yesterday at the corner of Coventry/Lobengula. I was hit by a speeding truck, my car badly damaged and I was shaken up…whilst I was still in the car, with the usual crowd gathering, one of your RR vehicles arrived at the scene. Their first priority was making sure I was OK, then they put out traffic cones to protect me, kept the crowd at bay, and controlled traffic. They were fantastic Andy, they really were, they stayed on scene until the police arrived, the vehicles were cleared and after again checking I was OK they withdrew.

The men were Frank Mutematsaka and Brighton Sibanda. I would very much like to give them something to say thank you, which I felt I should do through you rather than directly with them. And thanks to Safeguard too, your help was much appreciated.

I would like to thank you also for the services being offered by your team its commendable and I have no complains at all.

Keep up the good work at let us continue to work as a team, with such communication we will never go wrong.

During the early hours of the 23rd November around 0300hrs l was involved in a minor road accident. My car swerved off the road and landed in a roadside drainage (Engen Fuel Station along Kirkman at Madokero). A few minutes later l saw headlights flashing and two gentlemen inquired if l was OK and if I needed assistance. I had already called Road Angels to assist and as such l responded and immediately recognized the two gentlemen as the ones who attended to my distress call a while back with vehicle ID 33. The two gentlemen called their control room which called back to insure if l needed any assistance. 

The two gentlemen stayed with me until the Road Angels team arrived and finished their rescue operations. Special thanks to Safeguard for such exceptional service with a special mention of the two Nkosana and Kumutumba.

I was just wanting to let you know what a good team Safeguard have in Emerald Hill. We had the misfortune of needing your guys urgently in the early morning Sunday. I pressed my panic button & the team arrived to survey both mine & neighbours on Belfast Road. Another neighbour has a Safeguard Guard every night that blew his whistle.

The copper thieves were disturbed & though, they had cut the ZESA wires, left the loot behind. Your guys fetched Avondale Police & all was handled very professionally.

You only ever hear the negative feedback but your guys were good & need to be commended.

Crime is certainly on the increase … A busy season ahead for you

On 20 September 2022, our neighborhood alarm went off at our residence in Marlborough in the evening shortly after 9pm. 

Almost immediately, I got a follow-up call from your control room. Spoido and Mazhindu were assigned to make a follow-up. This they did, timeously and diligently through careful checks on our premises, and confirmed that all was well. 

I would like to commend the professional way in which the incident was handled along the security value chain and to commend the actions of Spoido and Mazhindu who executed their part of the assignment in a reassuring and authoritative manner.

Following yesterday’s incident at Hellenic Primary School, I wanted to recognise the good work that the Safeguard team did to identify and deal with a suspicious vehicle. The vigilance and proactivity has the effect of increased confidence in our security provision. Equally, the arrest of the serial laptop thief on Hellenic grounds last term, after she had plagued a number of Harare schools brings solid kudos to your company. 

I have mentioned regularly that the impact of a strong supervisor on our estate is a critical component of effective security for the school.

I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to you and your organisation for a very professional, ethical and contact of integrity displayed by one of your officers based at Arundel School.

Background on the Saturday of 04 June 2022, there was a sports function at Arundel school. My son, from St Georges asked to be dropped to watch his friend play a hockey match. When the game was over and I picked him, he forgot his bag that contained his iPad, A-level texts books and some jacket. Only when we got home did he realise he had forgotten it. We drove back to the school, realised the bag was not there where he had left it and asked my son to first approach the security officer who was closest to the fields whilst I stayed behind. After very careful questioning and probing to ascertain the authenticity of my son`s claim that he had left his bag, the officer informed him she had picked it. She then went on to counsel him about being responsible and safeguarding parents’ investment in what they buy their children to use in school. It was only then that I introduced to her that I was the child’ father.

I was impressed by the level of professionalism displayed, and just want to commend her and your organisation for standing out. These days, many that claim are professionals don’t always live to that claim, but you have distinguished yourselves through her example.

Your contribution to the event allows us as the LOC, the opportunity to deliver a high level of event.

It is our continued ambition to deliver “The Must Do Event” event here in Zimbabwe and to this end, we thank you again most sincerely for your continued support of the Troutbeck event and the sport of triathlon here in Zimbabwe.

Thank you for your excellent service!, we received the night guard at the premise last night at exactly 17:40pm.

I would just publicly like to thank safeguard and their rapid response team. My dearest mum was attacked in her home yesterday morning and was forced to the ground and choked. When she was let go to get keys to open the cupboards she managed to hit her panic button. Safeguard was there in record-breaking time. They caught the perpetrator as he was trying to escape. They kept my mum safe till we could get to her. They are fast, efficient, kind, and trustworthy.

I would recommend to anyone with elderly parents or women on their own to sign up with them. They do give a pensioners rate.

My apologies as I should have sent this email last week but somehow the time ran away from me!

Our daughter, had a car accident [rear-ended] during the evening of Saturday 6 March; she was indicating to turn right into Hunt Road off Borrowdale Road while making her way home.

My husband went to help her out and he asked me to call your response centre to get someone to go to Borrowdale Police to bring a Constable to the scene.

I spoke with Sebastian a number of times while he arranged to get one of your response teams to react and he was amazing – calm, clear, nothing was a problem, he was happy to help – all very comforting at 21.30 when you’re at home and wondering what’s going on at the scene!

I would like to commend one of your guards. Matilda, she works at our complex on Robert Drive in Msasa, she is a day guard from Sunday to Thursday. Recently she informed us that she thought some of our staff were doing fraud, upon that tip-off we have caught 3 members of staff and an ex-employee doing jobs in our factory and using our materials without our knowledge. We thank Matilda very much for her honesty and help.

Two men armed with pistols entered the house after forcing the verandah security gate. They threatened and assaulted my wife and me and stole cash. Fortunately, I was able to press our alarm panic button after a short struggle with one of them and they fled. Your control room promptly confirmed this alarm and your response team quickly arrived accompanied by ZRP officers. Both your team and the police officers performed their duties very efficiently and professionally.

We were very grateful for the assignment of the guard to patrol the grounds for the rest of the night. This guard, Mr Fungai, performed this duty very efficiently and professionally.

A member of your team had noted that we were unable to use our remote panic buttons as I had unfortunately not replaced their flat batteries and the next morning your technician arrived and installed and tested new batteries.

Your company’s service has been absolutely exemplary throughout this incident, as it has been throughout our time as your clients.

Outstanding Service by Daniel and Watson

I just wanted to let you know that I received outstanding service by Daniel and Watson today at 39 Kew Drive, Highlands. When electricity came back on my alarm went off and I did not hear the phone ring.  Daniel and Watson came almost immediately to check if I was ok. 

They were here so quickly and gave me outstanding service delivery which is rarely seen these days in Zim.  I told them how comforting it was to receive this and took their names down.  They were so efficient and I was amazed at how quickly they came to my gate to check that everything was ok. 

Please try and recognize these two outstanding members of staff that you have!  DANIEL AND WATSON.
