Safeguard Crime Report – April 2021
Whilst the number of reported incidents has fallen across the country, Crime in Harare remained constant. As reported last month, the real change is the targeted and more violent crime, with incidents of explosives used on safes during break-ins and robberies occurring in Harare (and Mashonaland East). Ruwa has been in the spotlight as criminals target those that hold cash on site.
Safeguard Crime Report – March 2021
Crime increased by 16.6% when compared to the previous month with a significant increase in theft incidents whilst robberies and burglaries remained constant. Though Harare remains the most active for crime incidents, crime in Midlands and Mashonaland East increased fourfold in the last month.
