  • Voice Stress Analysis, often referred to as the Voice Lie detector is a system that was invented (a long time after the polygraph) to supplement the inherent limits of that system; often described as invasive, painful, threatening and an overall unpleasant experience.

      • Stressed patterns/charts do not automatically represent deception although in many cases they do. As VSA operators we do not base our interpretation and opinions on a stressed chart only. We prefer to systematically evaluate the facts of the case matter, consider witness testimony, all other facts relevant to the case as well as the behaviour of the test subjects themselves during the exam before arriving at a conclusion or final opinion. Neither VSA nor any other so called lie detector process can lay claim to being an ‘exact science’.
      • In many cases the system exonerates and separates the innocent from the guilty.
      • Any test subject may, without recrimination, decline or refuse to undergo a ‘lie detector or stress evaluation’ process. This does not often happen.
      • We comply with all aspects of Zimbabwe Law and operate under the guidance of a registered Psychologist.
      • The ZIMBABWE courts currently do not recognise the evidence obtained from this process.
